Computer games are now experiencing a new round of development. If earlier PC users went through a quest and fought with virtual rivals, todaythe opponents are real people. A new round of development in the industry has become international battles taking place in top arenas in major cities of the world. Championships and leagues are held only in some computer games. Below will be described the most popular cyber disciplines.

Dota 2

The game is a continuation of Dota. Developed by Valve. On the creation of the product work was carried out 4 years. The release took place in 2013. Genre – MOBA. Players fight on various maps. On the field, 2 teams of 5 people are opposed.

Dota 2 is not the most popular game in the world, but in championships on international arenas, the maximum prize pools are played in duels. The first tournament was held in 2011 The prize fund was $ 1.6 million. In 2017, the event guarantee was equal to $ 23 million. the Winning team of the event earned $ 10.8 million.

In 2019, the prize fund of the championship turned out to be a record, amounting to $ 23 million. She managed to repeat her success of 2018, becoming the best in the history of cyber disputes.

There are many events for Dota 2 with different guarantees. Anyone can start a career as an eSports player. To get into a major league, you will need to go through dozens of qualifying matches. Top players are sponsored by various companies. Valve allocates a separate budget for holding leagues in popular stadiums.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

It is considered the most popular computer game and leader in cyberspace. It has a long history, attractive for schoolchildren, students, middle-aged people. Developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. The release took place in 2011. In 2013, it became possible to play with real opponents.

CS: GO hosts a huge number of tournaments that gather a million audience. The main event is the World Electronic Sports Games. In 2017, the organizers allocated millions of dollars for the event. The prize fund of the main event will be $ 1.5 million.

In 2019, the StarLadder Berlin Major event was held. The guarantee was $ 1 million In 2021, the prize fund was doubled, which made it possible to attract additional players and the audience to watch the broadcast of the tournament.

The organizers are not going to stop there. Due to sponsorship fees and advertising, it is possible to increase budgets. This helps in attracting new teams.

League of Legends

The development of the riot Games studio in the MOBA genre is among the top 3 most popular eSports disciplines. The number of followers exceeds 100 million. However, the budgets for the championships of the game are very modest. Events have been held since 2011, gathering a huge audience. The format of the event provides for the Continental League. Its participants are selected for the League of Legends World Championship.

The prize fund of the first championship was only $ 100,000. It was held in 2011 In 2017, the budget increased to $ 4.6 million Two years later, the warranty was reduced to $ 2.2 million In 2020 and 2022, gamers fought for $ 2.225 million.

Compared to the budget allocated for dozens of Events on Dota 2, the guarantees can be attributed to modest. However, for most eSports players, these amounts are quite large. Anyone with certain skills and experience can get a solid payout. In the online new casino https://www.online-casino.bg/new-casino/, it is much easier to win tens of thousands of dollars. You can try to hit the jackpot even from a mobile phone, being at a lunch break or a boring meeting.

Overwatch

The action shooter became mega-popular immediately after the release. The organizers of eSports matches instantly included it in the list of available disciplines. The first leagues — APEX, OPS and OPC — were held in Asia. Guarantees of regional events reached $ 300,000. Championships were subsequently held in the EU and the USA. Now the leaders are Major League Gaming, DreamHack, Intel Extreme Masters. Prize pools reach $ 100,000.

The first shooter championship was the 2016 Overwatch World Cup, which was held in South Korea because most of the participants were from that country. In 2017. Blizzard created the official Overwatch League. It included 14 cyber teams. The total guarantee was $ 3.5 million. In 2019, the organizer increased it to $ 5 million. In 2020, all events were transferred to the online environment.

Overwatch Championships are hugely popular. Players join teams to earn money. Organizers sell places to participate in events. The cost reaches $ 20 million. This fee scared off some teams, but nevertheless all the seats were sold out.

StarCraft II

The developer of the game was the studio Blizzard. StarCraft II is a continuation of the cult strategy of the company. The release took place in 2010, after which the game got into the top of cyber disciplines and confidently holds its position for 10+ years.

In 2012 StarCraft II World Championship Series took place. A series of events allowed to qualify for the World Championship Finals. The winner of the event will receive a payment of $ 100,000.

StarCraft II’s strategy does not involve team building. Tournaments are attended by single players. As a result of guarantees, events are small. It is not very profitable for event organizers to increase them. The championship, held in 2018, had a guarantee of $ 500,000.

The discipline supports hundreds of regional events. It is most popular in Asia. Matches are broadcast on various platforms, gathering a large audience. Popular eSports players become celebrities. They are offered advertising contracts. Thanks to the game, they have a high income.

European leagues cannot boast of large guarantees. The maximum is $75,000. Matches are most often held online, competitions are held at stadiums extremely rarely.

]]>
So you want to get into the gaming industry? It’s no secret that breaking into this competitive field can be challenging, but there are a few things you can do to improve your chances. First, a solid resume 2023 showcasing your skills and talent is imperative. If you’re just starting, consider making free games or modding existing ones to gain experience.

Second, the network is critical. Attend industry events and meetings, and connect with industry professionals to introduce yourself and ask for advice. Finally, don’t be afraid to take risks. The gaming industry is constantly changing, so it’s essential to be flexible and adapt. If you’re willing to work hard and stay ahead of the curve, you can find your dream job in the gaming industry.

What is a gaming resume?

A gaming resume is a document that lists your skills and experience in the gaming industry. It looks like a traditional resume but contains information about your gaming experience and skills. Gaming resumes can be used to apply for jobs in the gaming industry or showcase your skills to potential employers.

When creating your gaming resume, it’s essential to highlight your experience with specific game titles and genres. If you are an experienced programmer, you should list your programming skills on your gaming resume. This will help you stand out from other applicants and increase your chances of getting the job.

How to write a gaming resume

As the industry continues to grow, there is a growing demand for talented gamers who can broadcast their gameplay, commentate, and create engaging content. If you’re hoping to break into the world of professional gaming, one of the first things you need to do is build a strong resume. Here are some tips to get you started:

Personal details & profile

Include personal details that will give the reader a sense of who you are. Start with your name, age, and location. Finally, have a professional photo of yourself – that’s everything! By following these simple tips, you’re sure to create a gaming resume that will help you score the job of your dreams.

List your soft and technical skills

You must include both your soft and technical skills. Soft skills are personal qualities that can help you succeed in any industry, including gaming. Examples of soft communication skills include strong communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability. Technical skills are specific to the gaming industry and may include experience with game engines, level design, and 3D modeling.

List your work experience

One way to make your resume stand out in gaming is to include your work experience. Employers in the gaming industry are always looking for candidates with relevant experience, so having this information on your resume is a great way to demonstrate your skills and qualifications.

Include specific details about your tasks and responsibilities. Did you manage a team of developers? Write code for new features? Test games for bugs? Be as straightforward as possible to give employers a clear picture of your capabilities. In addition, be sure to highlight any accomplishments you helped achieve while on the job.

Even if you want to become pro-player, you may need to have CV as well. For example, it’ll be good to have experience in Valorant or LoL boosting if you want to become play those games professionally. You may not have practical experience to show, but you can share your boosting results to prove that you are skilled player.

List your education and certifications

When writing your gaming resume, it’s imperative to include your experience playing video games and any relevant education and certifications you may have. For example, if you have a computer science or engineering degree, it would be helpful to list it as it will show potential employers that you have the necessary technical skills. Or, if you’re certified in Unity or Unreal Engine, that’s also a good thing to include, as it demonstrates your ability to work with one of the most popular game engines.

Hobbies and interests

I’s essential to include hobbies and interests that reflect your passion for gaming. For example, if you’re an avid gamer, you might want to list your favorite video games, consoles, and genres. You could also include information about any competitive gaming you’ve participated in and any gaming-related blog or podcast you contribute to.

If you’re interested in game development, meanwhile, be sure to list any relevant programming languages or software you’re proficient in. Ultimately, by including hobbies and interests showcasing your love of gaming, you’ll give yourself a better chance of landing a job in this exciting industry.

7 Games Industry CV Tips

If you’re looking for a game industry job, your CV will be your first impression of potential employers. So it’s essential to make sure it’s a good one! Here are ten tips to help you craft a killer games industry CV:

1. Keep it relevant. Your CV should focus on the skills and experience that are most relevant to the games industry. There’s no need to include every single job you’ve ever had – just the ones that will impress potential employers.

2. Use Keywords. Games industry employers will often use keyword searches to find suitable candidates, so make sure your CV includes relevant keywords such as ‘game development,’ ‘level design,’ or ‘3D modeling.

3. Quantify your achievements. Wherever possible, include numbers or other measures to back up your claims. For example, instead of saying, “Created level designs for AAA game,” you could say, “Created level designs for AAA game that achieved an average player rating of 4.5/5”.

4. Highlight your transferable skills. The games industry is notoriously competitive, so employers will look for evidence of skills that can be transferred to other areas. If you have experience in project management, team leadership, or marketing, include it on your CV.

5. Don’t neglect your projects. Many game industry employers value personal projects as much as professional ones, so don’t forget to include details of any indie games you’ve worked on, modding projects, or prototypes you’ve created.

6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends. The games industry is constantly changing, so it’s essential to show that you’re keeping up with the latest trends and developments. Mention any new technologies or platforms you’re familiar with, and make sure your portfolio showcases any new skills you’ve acquired recently.

7. Tailor your CV for each application. It’s essential to take the time to tailor your CV for each job application rather than simply sending out the same generic CV to every employer. Highlight the specific skills and experience that make you suited for each role, and don’t forget to check for typos!

Following these seven tips should help ensure that your gives you the best possible chance of being noticed by games industry employers. So put them into practice and good luck with your job search!

Let’s take a deeper look inside based on what we found throughout our search for the most expensive CSGO inventory. What these gamers have kept in their Steam libraries will be examined. what these athletes are like, and how much money they are worth. You’ll also discover how to assess the value of your Steam inventory. As a result, you may be confident that you are prepared for your CSGO skin deal.

Top 5 most expensive inventories in CSGO

Maria

Currently, Maria is the owner of the most expensive inventory in CSGO. A player with more than 20 AWP Dragon Lores, more than 10 M4A4 Howls, and several StatTrak swords cannot be defeated. It makes the complete reason that this individual would have the finest CS:GO inventory anywhere. Maria, a Steam user, possesses nearly every CSGO skin a fan could desire, making her the world’s richest CSGO skin collector. Over $443,997 worth of rare skins with acceptable floats are crammed into Maria’s inventory.

· Items: 869

· 206 StatTrak Items

· 386 knives

· Awp | Dragon Lore is the most expensive item (Factory New)

McSkillet

On August 23, 2018, a fatal car accident claimed the life of well-known CSGO YouTuber McSkillet. He left behind a living monument in the form of his Steam inventory, which is still in use and has a market value of $403,000. Brand-new, factory varieties of the AWP Medusa, Dragon Lore, and M4A4 Howl make up a very minor percentage of his collection.

· Items: 990

· Statistical Items: 254

· Knives: 552

· $403.000 in all.

· AWP | Dragon Lore is the priciest item (Factory New)

Joe

Joe enters the platform with an inventory that is nothing short of remarkable. He has 761 knives and 152 StatTrak skins in his CSGO collection, which is worth a total of $303,800. Two Factory New M4A1-S Knights, a Minimal Wear AUG Akihabara Accept, and a Factory New AWP Dragon Lore with an incredibly rare 0.01 float are the priciest skins in his collection.

· 934 StatTrak items were recorded.

· 761 knives

· $421.234 in total

· Awp | Dragon Lore is the most expensive item (Factory New)

ZipeL

Some of ZipeL’s holdings include some of the most expensive and elusive CSGO skins. Zipel has a strong following in the CSGO trading scene. Many people believe that their CS:GO inventory is among the best in the whole globe. The total estimated worth of Zipel’s skin collection is around $303 790. Its most famous members also include several illicit StatTrak M4A4 Howl skins and several Katowice 2014 skins. ZipeL, a well-known CSGO skin merchant, has one of the greatest inventories you will ever see in the game. With a total inventory worth over $303,790, ZipeL’s collection of exquisite skins is comparable to his collection of precious stickers.

· Items: 683

· StatTrak Item count: 72

· Knuckles: 108

· $303,790 is the total.

· Awp | Dragon Lore, the most expensive item

Deus

Deus has largely gained fortune with CSGO knives. The most popular CSGO skins on this account tend to include knives as a common motif. Possibly none of his collection of Dragon Lore was sparkly. Despite this, each skin in this CSGO inventory has a really high worth. This collection stands out from the others due to the abundance of unique knives with highly sought-after designs.

· Items: 844

· Statistics: 148

· 621 blades

· $307.016 is the total.

· AWP | Gungnir is the priciest item (Field-Tested)

Conclusion

Due to years of CSGO gaming and several hours spent collecting skins, these 5 gamers have some of the largest CSGO inventory in the whole globe. Right now, everyone’s Steam profiles are all set to public. As a result, you can browse the website and see every single CSGO skin they own.

Remember that this list only contains Steam users whose public inventory options are enabled. This list may not be totally accurate because users with pricey stuff regularly decide to keep their accounts private. The entire inventory figures displayed above will change over time due to how unstable and constantly fluctuating the price of CS:GO skins are. You can tell from what you’ve seen that the top 5 CSGO inventory listings all have a significant amount of money in them. Maybe in the future, your name will also be on that list.

FromSoftware’s most ambitious game, incorporating the best of the Japanese studio’s previous projects. If you’re skeptical of the press evaluations shouting about “10 out of 10 at your fingertips”, you’re wrong. Even though perfect games don’t exist, Elden Ring has come as close to perfection as possible.

Elden Ring is assembled from elements of the Souls series, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but every narrative element and every game mechanic is taken to a whole new level here. We kill bosses in intense battles to epic music and don’t wonder why we need to do it at all.

Before Elden Ring, only Sekiro set a clear goal for the player and introduced a hero to pursue it. However, in many ways the game differed from From Software’s previous works and was not to the liking of all its fans. Too much dynamics, only one fixed character, albeit with his multifunctional and interchangeable prosthetics. Elden Ring takes a different path, bringing back the Souls concept familiar to all fans, while maintaining the dynamics of the same Sekiro.

The whole game is an omens to the previous works of the Japanese studio. It has the same animations and sounds, familiar enemies and even characters, like the notorious Scrappy, who tries to get the main character into trouble by directing him towards the treasure, but without revealing the details of how it is guarded.

What sets Elden Ring apart from the same Souls or Bloodborne series, as noted above, is a clear understanding of its place in this world and the goals it sets for Faded, our hero. The universe created by George Martin is full of mysteries, which, like puzzle pieces, gradually add up as the storyline progresses and unfolds. At first it is not quite clear what the Ring is and why we have to stomp to the shining tree several thousand meters high, when there is such a wonderful swamp with a dragon splashing in it, but then everything falls into place.

You quickly figure out how the demigods got the Great Runes that perverted their bodies and souls, and why the right thing to do would be to destroy them rather than try to appeal to reason. Even the behavior of the numerous secondary characters that we meet along the way will be understandable without an in-depth study of numerous articles on Fextralife or reading dozens of pages of fan forums. They willingly share secrets, give clear instructions on what to do and where to go, and are not limited to spatial arguments about the eternal and the ancient gods, as it was in the same Bloodborne.

In Elden Ring the plot is driven by the player’s thirst for adventure, his desire to get under every rock, visit every location, explore every dungeon and destroy every tomb. And the game generously rewards your curiosity with new armor, spell scrolls, weapons and other treasures.

Souls-like, as a separate genre, has existed for eight years. The success of Dark Souls was phenomenal, in the first month more than 1,5 million copies were sold worldwide only on the consoles, and when the game was released on the PC, the sales were even higher. In general Dark Souls is a spiritual successor of the previous game from soft, which was not as popular as DS, Demon’s Souls.

In a nutshell to describe the gameplay of Dark Souls I can’t think of a better word than survival. In this game we have to die all the time, lots of dying, way too much dying! But it’s not because the game has bad controls, or a huge number of bugs, no, on the contrary, the first DC was pretty well made game. The point is that the gameplay itself is built to test the player’s mettle by challenging him. The gist itself is this: We must run to the end of a very winding location, and defeat a boss. And if even the description of the gameplay itself sounds very simple, in fact everything is much different. In fact, the game of this genre does not forgive the mistakes made by inexperienced players, and severely punish them for them … death, loss of souls (which are needed to level up), well, the loss of time players spent on the passage of the location, because as soon as they regenerate, then begin their race with the last safe zone. For the player create conditions in which he will be constantly in danger, and only rare fires will give him a rest. In fact, at least the game is fair enough to the player, for example: if you died, but managed to open a shortcut, then you can get to the place where you were killed faster. Also, if after the first death, you are not killed again, you can run to the place where you were killed, and pick up precious souls. Also, the Souls series is famous for its lore and soundtrack.

If I won’t get into details of the lore, believe me, it’s too deep there, then I can say a few words about the soundtrack. The soundtrack is a heavy orchestra, which is designed to pressure the player, and so oppressive enough atmosphere.

Overall Dark Souls had a huge impact on the gaming industry, and showed that not only casual games can be in demand. And it is funny, that to this day, some studios are trying to repeat the success of Dark Souls. And frankly, some of them are quite successful, remember that mix of Souls-Like and Diabloida from Team Ninja. One of those who tried to create a game similar to Dark Souls was my favorite bandai namco who are the publishers of one of my favorite game series God Eater.

Code Vein is pure Souls-like, only times more casual. All the basic gameplay mechanics are carefully copied from DC, but with its own nuances. The first thing you can say about the combat system CV is that it is at times more dynamic series of souls, and this has its reasons (the connection of the game with the God Eater universe, well, its developers), as an example may serve as a banal roll, which in this game can be replaced by a jerk (from God Eater), well, and the presence of a separate menu for spells, and swinging a sword a little clumsy. But so, in general, the game is a complete, places unfortunate copy of Dark Souls.

Oh, and a little bit more about the multiplayer. In general, to play with another player, in the Souls series, we need to find a certain artifact called humanity\coal, and use it to restore the human form, and only after that, we can summon players to ourselves. And if you still have a white chalk, then you can already be summoned to another player. But it’s different in code wane. Here we don’t need any humanity or crayon. You just call a player for yourself, or just send a signal that you’re ready to help and wait until they call you.

The main trick of Code Vein is the plot… well, actually it should have been if the plot was good, but as it turned out quite passable. If you’ve played any of the God Eater games, you’ll be bored to follow the story. Although, despite the boringness of the plot, the characters here are quite well written… if you run around the locations and collect fragments of memories. In fact, something remotely reminiscent of S-linki from Persona was added to the game to reveal the characters, and to my mind, those shards reveal most of the characters quite well.

On a separate note, I’ll highlight the character editor, which is just perfect. Here, just like in Black Desert, you can create your own wyfu).

Overall, when it comes to code wane, the game itself, has no cultural value to the community. There’s almost nothing in it to make it stand out from the competition, which makes it feel like a passing game. But, as a fan of the franchise the game belongs to, I’m quite happy with the product. And if you’re wondering what I’m so happy about this game, I recommend watching the video attached to this post.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a typical third-person action game without a single hint of a network component. It’s scary to imagine, but nothing like this “Star Wars” hasn’t seen since the days of Nintendo 64 and Windows 98: in spirit Fallen Order is most reminiscent of the ancient Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. If we make a more modern analogy, the closest reference point in terms of genre is the Uncharted series. This series has almost the same acrobatics and gameplay dynamics. Except that there is absolutely no shooting and stealth – but with a huge amount of platforming and complex melee system. After all, the protagonist is no longer a thieving archeologist or even a charismatic smuggler, but a real Jedi Knight.

Or rather, for now, a Padawan. Cal Castith, played by American actor Cameron Monahan, was just a child when the infamous Order 66 was enforced. So by the beginning of the game he’s working at the Imperial junkyard, sorting out what Star Destroyers are still left after the Clone Wars, and trying his best to pretend he has nothing to do with the midichlorians. He’s not doing too well, though: the sudden arrival of a squad of imperial inquisitors led by the sinister Second Sister confirms it. With the Inquisitorium rounding up Jedi survivors from all over the galaxy, Questis is chased, but a couple of mysterious characters in their own spaceship come to his rescue – and this is where the adventure begins.

Of course, without the attempts to revive the destroyed Jedi Order the game with this title could not do without. In the pursuit of this noble goal Cal and I will visit five planets, learn how to wield a lightsaber, and at the same time reduce the contingent of stormtroopers, inquisitors, bounty hunters and other henchmen of the Empire by several hundred. The first, the second, and the third would be equally fascinating-albeit old-fashioned as hell.

The original DOOM was a cult game, largely responsible for what shooters look like now, if not the industry as a whole, so the demands for sequels have always been at least exaggerated. Of course, no one in their right mind expects the remakes and reboots to strictly follow the same formula as the original, but fans are certainly not going to forgive radical concept changes – we all remember a good, in principle, DOOM 3, which players disliked only because “it wasn’t like that before. But DOOM 2016 showed that it is enough to leave the core of the gameplay untouched to satisfy both the audience of hardcore fans, and fresh blood, unfamiliar with the classics.

Yes, that game was a bit of a hodgepodge of different popular mechanics, but who’s to say that’s a bad thing? We ended up with a super fast spinoff shooter, with confusing levels, tons of secrets, and hordes of bloodthirsty demons. As a longtime fan of the series, I wasn’t thrilled with certain innovations, but on the whole I had to agree that id Software then showed what a perfect reboot of a classic game should look like. The sequel appeared to be done under the slogan Citius, Altius, Fortius! At least this is how DOOM Eternal looks like on the background of its elder brother – it is much more dynamic, bloody, complex and pathos-laden than its predecessor. And to it, unfortunately, about twice as many questions.

Was DOOM Eternal able to surpass the previous part? Yes and no. It is definitely faster, bloodier and more diverse than the game of 2016, there is more story, more monsters, more interesting levels, but, on the other hand, the novelty is gone, we have already seen it all last time, even if in a slightly different dynamic, there is no noticeable qualitative leap forward. And I, even if I absolutely do not share id Software passion for certain game mechanics, for the second time I have to admit that the game was simply powerful. Yes, the old-school admirers could, like me, berate the “tinsel stuff that’s unnecessary for a good shooter, like three types of chops simultaneously” and complain that it’s not DOOM at all, and they’d be right, because Eternal is as far from the good old DOOM as it could be, just run the DOOM 64 re-release that came out with it for comparison. But does that make it a bad game? No, it’s just different, get used to it, now DOOM looks like this.
